Cohen 364. Martin 8. Nicolas 7. RIC 126. Very rare, one of just twelve known examples, only four of which are in private hands. Boldly struck on a large flan. Somewhat crystallized, otherwise, very fine.


While not plated, this coin has been assigned here to the 'Plated Jupiter-Vesta Group' as it differs clearly from the fine style coins struck in Lugdunum. Where exactly it was struck is impossible to say, but a moving military mint seems most likely.
